Privacy policy
This policy covers the Rebound website. The app will have its own privacy terms, shown when you create an account.
What we collect, and nothing more
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you give us, which form you used, the time you signed up, and the fact that you ticked the consent box. The form sends nothing else.
Your browser keeps two small entries in its own storage: your cookie choice and your light or dark preference. They never leave your device.
Like every website, our host (Vercel) keeps short-lived request logs with IP addresses for security and uptime. We do not use them to identify you.
If you accept the cookie notice, Google Analytics measures visits to this website: pages viewed, device, browser and country, never your name or email. Decline and nothing from Google loads. There are no advertising cookies and no tracking across sites.
Why we use it
Your email is used to tell you when Rebound opens. We only send product news beyond that if you opt in separately. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who sees it
Waitlist sign-ups are forwarded to the tool we use to manage the list and send email. Vercel processes requests to serve the pages. Neither is allowed to use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell or rent personal information, ever.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until the beta opens and for twelve months after, then deleted, unless you have created an account or asked us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to unsubscribe, at any time. The data requests page explains how, and we answer within 30 days.
If you are in the EU, UK or California you have additional rights under local law; the same page covers them.
Children
The site and the waitlist are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a child has signed up, ask us to delete the entry.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the foot of the site will update. Material changes will be announced to the waitlist by email.
